Got Dirt? PDF Print E-mail

Fayetteville Freeride volunteers add more dirt to the base of the Freeride ParkGot Dirt?

Fayetteville's Freeride mountain bike park is well under way!

We have started building the outer perimeter trails. Charlie Meadows (town park employee) has donated his free time to actually dig and bring in dirt to build up a 6 inch base that the pump track and dirt dirt jump track will be built on top of. This will greatly increase the trails ability to shed water and also increase the opportunity for more and larger jumps, rollers, and berms!

Thanks Charlie, with your help we'll be biking on Fayetteville's Freeride Park in no time.

Fayetteville's Freeride park's first official trail work has been scheduled for Sunday October 10.

If you can join us we will be meeting in The Fayetteville Town Park near the New River Gorge National park, at the back gravel lot and we'll be working from 9:00AM to 12:00PM.

Plan on working hard and prepare to get dirty.
